Dear Prayer Partners,

We are sorry no one has been able to blog these past couple of days. There was no Internet access. Thanks to the many of you who have been praying about the medications. There were three suitcases of medications and eyeglasses that were being held up by customs along with a printer at the airport. Monday Bruce and Misiker went back to Addis to see if they could bring the correct paperwork and get them through customs. They were finally approved by the food and drug administration but wanted more paperwork getting them approved through actual customs. We dealt with them all day only to return to Wonji 15 hours later without the medications. Tuesday Misiker returned to Addis with additional paperwork. He made more progress but was not able to get everything approved. Misiker stayed the night in Addis and another church member went the next morning to bring one more letter from the church. In the meantime the Dr's and the team worked with what they had each getting through over 60 patients in a day. Wednesday morning Misiker called and reported that he was now at the tax office waiting. They had to inventory the supplies one more time and assess the taxes we needed to pay to get the medications released. Wednesday night during supper time Misiker called. He finally had the correct signatures and was going to get the needed funds approx. $250.00 to get the medications. He then was to arrive back in Nazareth at midnight so Thursday morning PRAISE THE LORD we will Lord willing have the needed glasses and medications to help the people many who have traveled very far to visit the clinic.

Tomorrow will be very busy as the team will be helping to now distribute the proper medications and glasses to fill the many needed prescriptions. Pastor Kelly will be teaching all day, Bruce and Alora will continue working with the youth workers training them on the Awana program. Tammy, Kelly, Luke, Eryn and Hannah will provide games and activities for any children while the adults are being trained or visiting the Dr's.
