As we wait here at the Seattle airport, we are rejoicing that the l8 check-in containers were all approved.  Each weighed in at or about an ounce short of the  maximum 50 pound limit,  except one which was 51 pounds.  Yet that bag was graciously approved as well.  The over-sized box (by six inches), carrying the felt figures and flannel boards for the children Bible instruction,  passed inspection with no problem (or hefty additional fee) as well.   

Yesterday, Wayne delivered a beautiful wheelchair for us to take to the handicapped school teacher we met in Wonji last April.  (Belettu, a radiant believer, typically moves about by scooting across the ground, or being pushed in a wheel barrow.)  Wayne was able to locate one which fits her need for left-hand only operation--since Belettu's right side is paralyzed.  Heart-felt thanks to the lovely GBC friend who provided for this wheelchair and to Wayne, for readying it just in time.

We were introduced to Belettu's tiny classroom packed with kindergarten students last time.  Misiker translated their response after he asked them how they were doing.  In unision, several little voices rang out, "We are well, praise be to God."

Already, Belettu's chair has been a gift to one of our team members! Tammy, who plans to have knee replacement surgery next month, was advised yesterday by her doctor to stay off of her knee for a few days.  So the chair has been great!
